Take a full-day excursion from Marrakech to the Ouzoud Waterfalls to experience Berber culture firsthand. Take a ride from your hotel or riad and head north about 93 miles (150 km) to Ouzoud, which has one of the most beautiful waterfalls in North Africa. The village offers a stunning view of the falls, which drop 110 meters (360 feet) to a pool below.
Discover more about Berber culture by going on a guided tour of the region with a local guide, walking through olive groves and stopping by an argan oil cooperative. Savor fresh orange juice while hiking the trails and taking in the breathtaking scenery. For a different viewpoint, take a traditional boat ride on the pool beneath the falls. Finish the day with a leisurely Berber lunch at a nearby restaurant with a beautiful view.
In the calm afternoon, head up a flight of stairs, saying goodbye to the valley as you begin your journey back to Marrakech.
